1971 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda


The '71 'Cuda saw a host of very-cool styling changes versus the previous year; check off the option box for the 426 cu. in. HEMI and Incredible Quivering Exposed Cold Air Grabber (er, shaker scoop) and you had yourself one very powerful and highly desirable machine. They made only 11 convertibles, each now worth a few million dollars.

Yes, it is indeed a bit odd that Lexus chose to show off a tuned version of its CT 200h hatchback at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. Generally speaking, such machines are reserved for events more along the lines of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Still, here we are in the Windy City and there's this Five Axis-tuned hybrid on the stage; we couldn't help but shoot it for your viewing pleasure. How would you feel about living inside a real airplane for the rest of your life? Or enjoy your stay inside an airplane that has been converted into a hotel? Well, as outrageous as it sounds….it’s a real thing! All around the world, there have been airplanes converted into buildings….and they are workable, livable, hospitable places. They may look odd from the outside, but they meet their intended purpose at the end of the day.
