Now, people in the Philippines have to worry about monsters on land, as well. Meet the giant Filipino crocodile. (So much for being safe on land...) Back in 2011, residents of a small village south of the Philippine capital, Manila, managed to capture the world's largest, living crocodile.The 21-foot, 2,370-pound monster had been terrorizing the area for years. After it was suspected in the killing of a local fisherman, and some farmers' live stock went missing, a team of 100 local men set out to finally catch the beast.After an all day struggle they managed to trap the croc with steal nets, and drag it out of the small creek it was hiding in. The men then bound it up with tough rope and lifted it onto the back of a truck with the help of a crane.

This is Monty, a three year old kitty cat who was recently adopted from an animal shelter by a loving couple who has loved having the little feline in their life. Monty was born without a nasal bridge, which is essentially the bone in the nose that supports all that cartilage. It accounts for his unique appearance, but does cause a couple issues.Because of his void where most cats have a bone in their nose, Monty tends to sneeze a little bit more than your average house cat. You're probably familiar with the story of the tortoise and the hare. The whole "slow and steady thing" is the key to winning the race. Right? As it turns out, going "slow and steady" is important for when you're racing rude hares... and just living life. This tortoise made that point perfectly clear. His name is Jonathan and he might be the oldest living tortoise on Earth. It is thought that Jonathan was brought to the island of St. Helena in 1882. A photo from 1902 shows him at his full adult size and it can take 50 years for a giant tortoise to reach its adult size, meaning that he could have been born in 1832. Jonathan is probably the oldest land animal currently living, but he isn’t the oldest ever – other tortoises have lived longer, with one unconfirmed tortoise in India that may have lived up to as many as 250 years of age.He's slow moving, but he is probably going to beat all of us. via:  1

A mother tiger lost her cubs due to premature labour. Shortly after, she became depressed and her health declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. Since tigers are endangered, every effort was made to secure her health. Zoologistswrapped piglets up in tiger-print cloth, and presented them to the mother tiger. Think of any of your beloved pets that you had throughout your life. You would probably recognize them from a mile away, in a crowd. Now, imagine your pets completely hairless. You probably can’t. When an animal is without its fur, they’re almost completely unrecognizable. Think about getting a fluffy dog or cat wet; afterwards, it just looks like skin and bones. A lot of what we love about animals are their fur style and colorations. Without the hair (for whatever reason), they just look like little aliens. This horse got stuck in the mud. It's owner, Nicole Graham, had been holding it's head for hours, so it wouldn't suffocate, until the help arrived. RESPECT The image of a woman from Australia stayed top of her horse crane above the mud for three hours after the tide washed and inculcated from his neck even higher in the mud ... and she stayed in that state until help came and rescued him ... it was very contained the sink is more in the mud and die!!!!
