Fully documented and hand signed by Joel “Mr. Motion” Rosen, this prototype (#01) Baldwin-Motion SuperCoupe won the General Motors 2005 SEMA Design Award as “Best GM Vehicle”. The two-seat Baldwin-Motion SuperCoupe is powered by an all aluminum 540cid Merlin/Motion big block with a Kinsler Cross Ram Fuel Injection, set back 13″ on a proprietary 2×3″ tubular steel chassis. These photos will make even clearer its car creation that will be launched in the early next year. They show us the exterior, interior and engine of the modified Camaro SS. Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) performance kit is no cheap. The $18,950 is the price for the kit only without installation. The full installation kit is priced at $24,950, but this will be equipped with a half-day performance driving lesson at the Lonestar Motorsports Park, Texas. Plymouth Duster 340 Twister

Year(s): 1971 A year after the Plymouth Valiant morphed into the sportier Duster, a new trim level was introduced called The Twister. This included Rallye wheels, racing mirrors, lower panel stripes, a sharktooth grille, and hood scoops. Although the Duster had four total engine options, the only one we care about is the 275-horsepower 340 V8. Considering the Duster was only a little more than $2,000, this was a great steal.

1968 Pontiac GTO

This is probably the most famous advertisement that few people actually saw. The year was 1968. Pontiac was on a roll with its Pontiac GTO advertising with its blend of performance imagery and tiger theme. However, GM management decreed that no division could produce ads that encouraged reckless driving. So how could Pontiac show off the performance of its GTO? They did it by creating the perfect implied ad. The ad looks harmless enough: two men sitting in a Verdoro Green 1968 Pontiac GTO in the crossover median of a road by some trees. The ad copy reads “The Great One by Pontiac. You know the rest of the story.” “The Great One” referred to the GTO but what was the “rest of the story?” The sign behind the car gave the answer. Woodward Avenue in Detroit was the place for street drag racing and was famous nationwide. Therefore, the knowledgeable reader realized that the two men were waiting for someone to race. Ford Mustang Boss 302S Turn-Key Ready Racecar

The racer has is powered by a really powerful 5.0L V8 engine which is able to produce 440 HP and it’s connected to a six speed transmission. All this power is sent to the car’s rear wheels through a T2 Torsen differential. The suspension was upgraded with two way adjustable coil over dampers and anti-roll bars while high performance Brembo brakes were installed for the best stopping power.

Trans Am Depot displayed their 6T9 Goat performance package mated to a 2011 Camaro in vintage Pontiac GTO Judge orange paint. A creation of Kevin Morgan Designs, the 6T9 Goat has a throwback Endura-style grille with hideaway headlamps. Pontiac emblems, door sill plates and taillamp treatment were also part of the appearance kit. Several other Kevin Morgan Designs are available including the 7T7, a retro-Firebird Trans Am kit resplendent in black with large gold hood bird, a Hurst Edition Trans Am featuring sport suspension and Hurst shifter, decals and interior package. Another offering, the 6T9 Trans Am LS7, is scheduled to go into production in early 2012. The company is advertising more than 1,100 rear-wheel horsepower from the specially prepared LS7 engine, Hellion twin turbos and Hendrick 9-inch 3.22:1 ratio rear end. After the launch of Reiter Engineering’s Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3, the Americans answered with the Chevrolet Camaro GT3 modified by Sareni United, a car tuning company also owned by Hans Reiter of Reiter Engineering. The power plant behind this ferocious-looking muscle car is a whopping 7.9-liter Katech V8 that develops 650 HP, being able to tag along its Lamborghini counterpart on the GT3 racetrack. Though the cost differs by a huge amount, the performance and feeling offered are roughly the same. While the Gallardo costs around $376,000 per unit, the Camaro is priced at $253,056. Big Muscle Drives Eleanor Mustang

"Gone in 60 Seconds" is a star-studded automotive epic and gearhead favorite. The 1974 original, starring H.B. Halicki and Marion Busia, is famed for the 1973 Mustang Mach 1 and its 40-minute long chase scene in which 93 cars were destroyed. The 2000 remake, meanwhile, stars Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie along with a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 known as Eleanor. While the remake has its fans and detractors, Eleanor has become a classic in and of itself.The remake naturally showcased an replica, and on the latest installment of drive's Big Muscle series, Carroll Shelby's timeless creation is put under the spotlight for our viewing pleasure.

1969 Camaro Z/28 The color of the exterior, Garnet Red, signifies that this Z/28 is a true jewel.  The black Rally stripes are a great compliment to the body color, match the interior, and broadcast that this is a serious Z/28. Equipped with a serious 302, the signature mechanical sounds of the legendary Z/28 exhaust is handled by a system that combines to the dual-resonator after the muffler, still mounted in the stock location.
