We live in a beautiful, vast world full of wonders we have yet to discover. For most of us, the only exposure we will have to these wonders is through the shared experiences of those around us. These pictures are awe-inspiring. They remind us of how small we are, yet somehow give us a sense of connectedness and belonging. We all share the same planet. #1 The Fukang Meteorite via reddit/u/ turdmalone #2 The shadows that clouds cast over the earth from space via reddit/u/ 1Voice1Life #3 Kayaking near lava in Hawaii via reddit/u/ tek0011 #4 Thor's Well in Oregon via reddit/u/ blazik #5 Footprints from a monk who prayed in the same spot for 20 years via reddit/u/ Juankestein #6 How lighting and angles change your face via reddit/u/ pretendparades source

#1. Giant Solar Flares NASA predicts a massive 2013 solar flare will fire towards the globe. We all love the sun, but this flame thrower is waiting to hurl unprecedented levels of magnetic energy at us. A major solar flare would drown the earth with high energy particles and radiation. The results of such an overexposure to cosmic energy would be lethal. Take a lesson from the bee, when you mess with magnetic energy, you’re asking for trouble. A giant solar flare could impact each of our individual brain activity. With additional natural disasters triggered, global power outages, and inevitable wide-spread panic, you may want to stock up on some 5 Hour Energy shots. This will be no time for a foggy head. #2. Soaring Sea Levels A steady increase in the planet's temperature will result in melting huge glaciers. Sea levels will rise and result in dangerous flooding of coasts across the globe. And that's just with modest glacial melting. If the West Antarctic Ice Sheet were to go d...

Ford Atlas Named Autoweek's Most Significant Detroit Auto Show Debut

Image
The new Ford Atlas Concept, which previews the future of America's best-selling pickup truck for the past 36 years and the best-selling vehicle overall for 31 straight years, the F-150, has been named by the editors of Autoweek magazine, the "Most Significant vehicle of the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)". Bob Gritzinger, Autoweek executive editor, explains why: “The Atlas Concept is clearly Most Significant winner for the things you don’t see, like hidden aerodynamic improvements and weight savings from high-strength steel and interior parts, like thinner seats. Those things add up to significant fuel savings for pickup trucks down the road. A next-generation EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop technology also signals why Atlas is a real game changer.”

Pam Anderson Visits Gemballa At Top Marques 2012

Image
Typically the car girls at the tuning shows have never been heard of before, yet this year at the Top Marques show Pam Anderson stopped by Gemballa for a visit. She was picked up by the new Gemballa CEO Andreas Schwarz since previous owner Uwe Gemballa was found de*d last year. He scooped her up in a Panamera Mistrale and stated, “This car is what people want when they are looking for super sports car performance but also like to be chauffeured around.” It looks like Pamela Anderson had a good time and said she found the Gemballa sports cars “very German” and impressive inside and out.
