Empulse Electric Motorcycles

Great news for those of you interested in the brand new Empulse and Empulse R electric motorcycles – Brammo has finally released availability and pricing details regarding these motorcycles. We already knew that both these versions, the regular and R, have a range of 100 miles (160 km) and can reach a decent top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h). They come with a 10.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, all-time magnet AC motor that can generate 54 HP (40 kW) at 8,200 RPM, 63 Nm of torque and 6-speed gearbox. They can reach city ranges of around 121 miles (195 km) and highway ranges of 56 miles (90 km). It’ll take 8 hours to fully charge any of them, in case one doesn’t purchase the 3.5 hour fast

The Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat Motorcycle

The fastest big block V-twin motorcycle in the world, the Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat motorcycle is finally going into limited series production. The 172.2 mph world speed record was set by James Hoegh at the Bonneville Salts during last summer, reportedly equating the asphalt speed of 200 mph. This stunning 2-wheeler boasts with a 2,163 cc engine which delivers a massive 160 HP, tied to a 5 speed transmission. It is, at the same time, extremely light, weighing just 500 lbs – this is in fact the reason for which the X132 is able to reach those speeds. 1920s Harley-Davidson

British-based custom-bikes maker Shaw Speed & Custom is now presenting the Shaw F1-XLR custom bike, based on the Nightster. The bike constructed on the idea of mixing old super-bike racers style, like the Harley-Davidson board racers from the 1920s, with state of the art contemporary technology and partly looks. The prototype bike was dyed in a beautiful smoky grey tone resembling the color of the McLaren Formula 1 Team. It is still part of a project that Shaw started in collaboration with an Australian businessman. The Shaw F1-XLR Nightster sports the Nightster 1200 V-twin engine with a set of unique custom pipes and a ram-air intake. In addition, it features modified Covington rocker covers, larger pushrod tubes and a shortened cam cover.

The Brutus concept might be the SUV of motorcycles

Alessandro Tartarini, the son of the Italjet’s founder, Leopoldo Tartarini, has recently unveiled his brand new motorcycle design at the EICMA motorcycle show. The concept, appointed Brutus, is anonymously considered the SUV of motorcycles. The massively intriguing bike is powered by a single cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid cooled, electronically fuel-injected, 750cc engine with an output of 45 HP. Suzuki is one of the leading bike-builders in the world, their GSX series making history in both racing and street industry. We are now presenting a different, one-off Suzuki GSXR1000, which has been reworked almost completely and is now for sale. One of the few channels that offer real-time interesting facts and shows is the Discovery Channel. KTM unveils the 1290 Super Duke R prototype

The newly finished KTM 1290 Super Duke R prototype has been recently unveiled at the EICMA and Intermot and quickly became one of the top viewed vehicles. In fact, it’s an extremely lightweight trellis-framed naked bike, propelled by a 1,290cc version of the RC8R V-twin engine, fitted with an entire array of disengageable electronic riding assistance, drive-by-wire, new prototype WP suspension at both the front and rear and all sorts of carbon fiber parts. According to KTM, this bike will hit the market in less than an year from now. The fun side of this 2-wheeler though is not what we know about it, but rather on its basis – the RC8 R motor, which delivers 173 HP (129 kW) and 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft) of torque in the 1,190cc version, will reportedly be developing somewhere between 180 and 200 HP until the bike hits showrooms. source: luxatic.com

These gorgeous looking motorcycles are designed and built by an Italian company, based in Milan, named Café Racer & Superbike. They manufacture exquisite motorcycles, for exclusive customers all around the world, who enjoy cruising on bikes that will turn a lot of heads on the streets. Their projects, named DUU, come with powerful American engines with high amounts of torque, mounted on Italian chassis and accompanied by specific Italian trim and designs. Lazareth’s Unique FZR Compressor Prototype

This futuristic bike was designed and built for Mathhieu Kasovitz’s “Babylon A.D.” movie, released in 2008, with Vin Diesel as protagonist. The sci-fi screenplay needed an out-of-the-ordinary vehicle to be driven by Diesel, thus the Yamaha FZR Compressor Prototype was born. Lazareth took care of designing the motorcycle, using a Yamaha FZR 1000 as blueprint. The original bike got almost completely modified. American Chopper Cadillac CTS-V motorcycles

The American Chopper TV Series is well known all over the world right now and two of the main guys behind the success of the show and of the company as well are Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. who have become famous for their custom-tuned bikes for high profile companies and personalities. The newest project for American Choppers was a collaboration with Cadillac in which both Pauls, father and son, were given the task to design and build their own Cadillac CTS-V inspired custom bike. Junior’s bike is a monster with a metallic black finish and full with chrome accents to get a unique and imposing modern look and even incorporated the tail lights from the CTS-V into his bike’s fender. Teutul Senior on the other site kept a classic chopper look to his bike and pushed the power angle with a monstrous V-twin engine and even an extra shot of power thanks to a hidden shot of nitrous. The Mansory Zapico Carbon fiber Bike

The Mansory Zapico bike was designed by the renowned tuning company together with motorcycle specialist Thomas M. George using quite a lot of carbon fiber to make it ultra light and really attractive in the same time. It features a carbon front mask, seat module, primary shield and silencer, bug spoiler and also carbon fiber trim on the fuel tank, frame, fork, wheel rims and airbox as well. This custom bike from Mansory is powered by a 124cc V2 engine which is made by S&S. It might seem small but this engine delivers 160 HP which is just enough to take this ultra light bike from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. You have probably seen this monster before: The Gunbus, the largest ridable motorcycle in the world, was built by Leonhardt Manufacturing in Eppingen, Germany. TGS Seppster Spikes

A very different approach to an ice racer comes from TGS Motorcycles in Tittling near Passau, Germany. This one off custom named Seppster 2 with the looks of an ice speedway machine carries a turbo charged S&S 1,524cc engine that presses 100bhp on the ground. Each tire is equipped with 120 razor sharp spikes. Another rare feature of the bike is the single sided front fork.
